Project Life - Week 6

OMGosh.... I guess I should have knocked on wood or something after my last post. I am sooooo behind, but I'm not giving up yet :) Been busy over the past 6 weeks.... family vacation to AZ, got my cast off and started walking again (although very slow & limpy), little league started (I'm team parent, & my husband is coach), back to working in the classroom on Fridays, and trying to catch up with 6 months worth of cleaning, organizing, and projects. Oh, and lets not forget hitting the gym to start working off the 13 lbs I gained! Keeping up with daily photos, especially posting them is going to be tricky. It was MUCH easier to do from bed ;) Better get started.....

Sunday, Feb 7
Drove for the first time, a whole mile, to my lil brother's to hang out for the first half of the Superbowl. Met up with my family at the Bandanza's for the second half.

Monday, Feb 8
Chase lost his 2nd top tooth! When he smiles just a little, he looks like a Vampire. Go Team Chase!!

Tuesday, Feb 9
Kim & the boys came by, and gave us this super yummy plant (cookies, pudding, and cream) to have for dessert. No occasion... they are just fantastic neighbors, and friends =) Thanks Andersons!!

Wednesday, Feb 10
I watched the girls after school today. These cousins have sooo much fun together! Here they are finishing up some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, and milk.

Thursday, Feb 11
It's supposed to be finger painting.... not hand painting.

Friday, Feb 12
My Valentine from Chloe :D

Sat, Feb 13
Chloe pushing our bags through the airport. Our first family vacation on an airplane.

Heading to the gate....

So... at our monthly Moms Night Out dinner I overheard one of the moms saying she was going to AZ for February break. I told her we were going too. She was leaving on the 13th.. so were we. We were taking Southwest.. so was she. They were leaving at 11:45... OMGosh... So were we! The kids had so much fun together, walking through the airport, going through security, and sitting next to each other on the plane. It was so cute to listen to their conversation as the plane took off, and the people & buildings on the ground looked like ants. What a great way for Chase to get over his fear of flying.
